Bárbara Guerrero- MA Comparative Literature
Barbara is a second-year M.A. student in Comparative Literature at Western University. Her research interests are 19th and 20th century English Literature and Latin American literature, life writing, translation studies, and women writers. She is currently working on her thesis, focusing on the representation of female villains.
David Mongor-Lizarrabengoa- PhD Comparative Literature
David is a PhD student in Comparative Literature at Western University. He holds Master’s degrees in English, Spanish, and film studies. His research interests include 20th and 21st century Latin American literature & film, Basque literature, theories of adaptation, trauma studies, and horror films. Currently, he is also working on a collection of poetry.
Aikaterini Kudopulos- MA Hispanic Studies
Aikaterini is a second-year M.A. student in Hispanic Literature at Western University. Her research interests lie in female Hispanic authors and 20th century Latin American literature. Currently Aikaterini is completing required courses towards her degree while teaching an introductory level Spanish class within the university.
Matt Prokopiw- PhD Theory & Criticism
Matt Prokopiw is a doctoral candidate in Theory and Criticism at Western University, where he also completed his Master’s degree. He wrote his Master’s thesis on addiction and its relation to the colonization of rituals. His current research now focuses on problematizing a concept of drugs.
